A Bulgarian engineering company with a hardware mindset — founded in Varna, shipping worldwide. We believe great technology is built, not bought.
Varna Tech started in 2014 in a small workshop near the port of Varna, with two soldering irons, a secondhand oscilloscope and one conviction: great technology is built, not bought. The first jobs were repairing industrial controllers for local shipping companies. The controllers taught us a lesson software people often skip — when hardware fails, someone gets hurt, so you test everything, twice.
That discipline never left. When we grew into software — first embedded firmware, then cloud platforms, then AI systems — we kept the workshop rules: design the schematic first, review every trace, and never ship a board with a cold joint. It's why our software carries part numbers and revision letters, and why our clients in 40+ countries trust us with systems that cannot go down.
Today the team spans cloud architects, security engineers, ML specialists and the same kind of stubborn hardware people we started with. Different tools, same standard: if it wouldn't pass a bench inspection, it doesn't ship.
Specifications before code, measurements before opinions. Every deliverable has an acceptance test you can re-run without us.
You see the board, not just the case. Weekly demos, open repositories, honest estimates — including the ones you won't like.
Every system is designed as if it's already under attack, because statistically, it is. Zero-trust isn't an upsell here — it's the baseline.
We build systems meant to outlive the engagement. Documentation, handover training and no vendor lock-in, ever.
Two founders, one workshop in Varna. Industrial controller repair and custom firmware for the shipping industry.
First full software team. We ship a fleet-tracking platform still running today — same codebase, 99.98% uptime.
Dedicated cloud and cybersecurity practices launch. First international enterprise clients across the EU and Asia.
Machine learning team ships its first production vision system — defect detection for an electronics manufacturer, naturally.
Clients in 40+ countries, a team that still argues about connector footprints at lunch, and the same rule as day one: test everything, twice.
